What is HXC?
HXC is DC's proprietary impact-distribution technology, a hard internal
layer engineered between two soft layers inside your custom fit mouthguard.
When impact force hits the front of the guard, HXC redirects that energy away
from your two most vulnerable front teeth to your stronger back teeth, which
have deeper roots and more surface area to absorb the hit.
Who needs HXC:
Any athlete in a striking sport - MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing - where
direct blows to the mouth are frequent. Wrestlers and BJJ athletes who
experience impact during takedowns, and football players in high-contact
positions.
